Adrenocortical Carcinoma (Adrenocortical Carcinoma) is a rare form of cancer that develops in the adrenal gland. The adrenal gland is responsible for producing hormones that regulate various bodily functions. Adrenocortical Carcinoma occurs when the cells in the adrenal gland become cancerous and start to grow uncontrollably. It can occur at any age, but it is most commonly diagnosed in adults between the ages of 30 and 50.
